Hi all,
My henna tattoo is looking old, in fact dirty. How do I get it off before another show soon?

Thu, July 12, 2007 - 1:22 PMTry rubbing it frequently with alcohol or alcohol gel (the one that people use to sanitize hands). That should help.

I've heard that scrubbing with a whitening toothpaste will hasten the demise, but I haven't tried that one myself -- yet.

Re: Looking old
Fri, July 13, 2007 - 6:46 PMI have found that using Huggies brand baby wipes can remove the majority of a henna piece within two days with repeated use. It is a lot less harsh than alcohol or scrubbing or chlorine, and does not dry out your skin.
I'm not sure if it is my particular skin chemistry, but others have noted a similar effect for them -- so your mileage may vary on this one, but it certainly might help...
Good luck!
