Does this flower work?

Working on a new design for a full back piece for a client. Do you think this flower works, any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am having trouble seeing what sort of flower it is, the center of the "flower" is too crazy.
I really can't tell what it is, maybe it looks like a bird.
The stylized leaf with it doesn't flow with the flower.
I like the flowers on the branches though.

I like the iris but the leaaf does not quite look right. The ones on the vines look good!

maybe without so much shading in the flower. Somtimes simplicity is better. Nice idea though. The other flowers are great.

The big flower and the leaf doesn t flow, like they are two different entithies instead of one whole. I think if you did lessnerving in the leaf and let them run more up instead of sideways and not so many, it would look good with the current flower.

Thanks guys, I totally agree about the leaf, I kinda knew as soon as I did it that it didnt work, the henna I'm using at the minute stains instantly so I couldn't wipe it off! Thanks for all the feedback, it really helps :-)
